Children’s Ministry: Helping kids know and love God
At North Springs we love kids and are passionate about helping kids know and love God. We provide a caring environment, and age-appropriate, fun class experiences where kids learn from God’s word, engage in kid-friendly worship, and are encouraged to respond to God with their lives. We believe kids are able to enjoy a dynamic relationship with Jesus, and count it a joy and privilege to come alongside parents in nurturing the faith of their kids.
Classes
Preschool/Kindergarten
Kids age 3 1/2 through Kindergarten enjoy a loving, fun environment where they feel secure. They are introduced to foundational truths from God’s word, play together, and create projects as they develop their understanding of who God is, and how much He loves them. They are taught by Godly teachers who show them God’s love. Have more questions?

Grades 1-5
Kids in grades 1 – 5 first enjoy an engaging community experience together, and then split to grade-level classes with adult leaders who are committed to investing in their lives. Our program includes fun musical worship, dynamic teaching, a chance to connect and create projects together, and time for individual response to God.
In our program, kids learn that the Bible is first and foremost about God and that the other characters of the Bible point to Him. Our curriculum points to The Big God Story, highlighting God’s redemptive plan throughout history. They learn how God works in our lives, and how we can respond to Him. I have been married to my best friend Dave for 20 years. We have lived in Colorado Springs since 1998 and have attended North Springs since that time. We love being parents to Abby who is 14, and Ian who is 10. I absolutely love working with the kids at North Springs!
