Erik Cramer

Associate Pastor & Youth Pastor

Erik Cramer I am married to the love of my life, Becky, since December 2006. We have a daughter, Ashlyne, and a son, Jackson. I’ve been a youth pastor for 10 years, serving at North Springs since August 2007. I went to the University of Southern California (Go Trojans!) and received a Bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism, then attended Bethel Seminary and received my Master’s in Divinity.
  • What’s your favorite food? My favorite food is macaroni and cheese (not the boxed stuff), though a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and an In-N-Out Double-Double both have a special place in my heart.
  • What do you do in your free time? I spend my free time with Becky & Ashlyne, and Jackson as well as watching sports, reading, playing tennis, and anything outside.
  • What’s the funniest thing that ever happened to you? When I attended USC, a friend of mine was on the USC Women’s Volleyball team. My friends and I regularly attended her games and took pride in being the rowdy part of the crowd. One game in particular stands out, though. The pre-game always included the national anthem, most of the time, just played on a CD over the loudspeakers of the arena. However, this particular game, they were having technical difficulties and there was a significant pregnant pause as they tried to figure it out. I, not really known for my singing voice (or known for it being terrible!), and my buddies, started singing the anthem a cappella, mostly as a joke. However, the joke apparently was on us, as the teams and the rest of the arena joined us in singing! So, from then on, I’ve been able to say, that despite my lack of any musical ability, I’ve sung the national anthem at a major college’s sporting event!
