Common Threads

Common Threads Prayer Ministry is taking on another special Prayer Project. Common Threads Prayer Ministry is changing its focus to what we are going to call “Glory Baby Blankets”.  As many of you know, we lost one of our own sweet babies at North Springs last year, Kerry and Jeff’s daughter, Sadie Grace Boutwell.  In her honor, we are going to be donating baby blankets, wraps and/or burial sacks to St Francis Hospital’s Birth Center.  There are certain patterns, yarns and stitches that are preferred for this project. An information meeting will be held Tuesday, March 2nd at 6:30 at Gina Platt’s house.  This is our opportunity to reach out in a time when other ministries are not, so if you would like to continue making Chemo Caps, that is fine. Keep in mind that if you know someone that crochets, knits or would like to learn how, please invite them to participate. It is a great way to reach out to the community and show them how we are demonstrating Christ’s love to others.  Contact Gina Platt, 282-8335 for questions or directions.
